Lead-Acid Battery Recycling

Used lead-acid batteries represent one of the most recycled consumer products in the world, yet safe and efficient recovery requires purpose-built machinery. San Lan supplies complete lead acid battery recycling equipment lines that break and separate batteries into lead paste, lead grids, plastic shells, and acid. Our systems handle capacities from 1 to 10 metric tons per hour and integrate optional de-sulfurization units, filter presses, water treatment plants, and air pollution control systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Downstream smelting equipment includes blast furnaces with lead recovery rates up to 95%, rotary furnaces for paste reduction with higher recovery than traditional blast furnace methods, and lead refinery kettle furnaces capable of producing 99.999% pure lead. Electric heated refinery options use near-infrared technology to reduce energy consumption by 30–50%.

Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling

As electric vehicles and consumer electronics proliferate, lithium-ion battery waste is growing rapidly. San Lan’s lithium battery recycling plants process waste cells at 500–2,500 kg per hour, separating black mass containing nickel, cobalt, and graphite from plastic, copper, and aluminum fractions. Each system includes discharging stations, pre-crushing, secondary granulation, magnetic separation, and dedicated air pollution control to neutralize harmful gases before emission.

Auxiliary systems such as plastic pneumatic conveyors and hydraulic briquetters compress separator film into dense blocks with a 10:1 volume reduction ratio, simplifying storage and transport.

Circuit Board Recovery

Printed circuit boards contain copper, precious metals, and hazardous substances that demand careful handling. San Lan offers both dry and wet separation circuit board recycling equipment with capacities ranging from 300 kg/hour to 5,000 kg/hour. Dry process plants combine air separators, vibrating screens, electrostatic separators, cyclones, and pulse dust collectors to achieve copper powder purity of 96–98% with recovery rates around 95%. Wet separation alternatives handle PCB waste still carrying electronic components, using water-based metal separation to protect downstream equipment and improve safety.

Cable Recycling

Scrap cable is a high-value feedstock when copper or aluminum can be cleanly separated from insulation. San Lan’s cable recycling equipment includes scrap cable strippers for diameters from 1.5 mm to 150 mm, compact granulators with dry separators, and high-capacity cable recycling plants. Whether processing jelly-filled telecom cable or standard wire scrap, our lines deliver consistent separation of metal and plastic fractions.
