Turnkey E-Waste Recycling Plants Built for Real Recovery Rates

Turnkey E-Waste Recycling Plants Built for Real Recovery Rates
Every year, millions of tons of discarded electronics pile up in landfills. For business owners willing to look at waste as raw material, this represents a serious revenue stream. Batteries, cables, and old circuit boards contain copper, lead, aluminum, and precious metals that can be recovered and sold. The key is having equipment that actually delivers the recovery rates you were promised.
Since 2007, San Lan Technologies Co., Ltd has designed, built, and shipped recycling machinery to operations across more than twenty countries. The company manufactures complete plant lines for lead acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries, scrap cable, printed circuit boards, and lithium ore extraction.
What San Lan Builds
As a recycling equipment supplier with its own manufacturing base in Jiangxi, China, San Lan keeps control over quality and customization. You are not buying from a trading company that outsources to unknown factories. You work directly with the engineering team that designed the line.
Lead Acid Battery Recycling
San Lan's lead acid battery recycling equipment handles the full sequence from incoming scrap to refined lead. The process starts with battery cutting and breaking, then separates the plastic casing, lead grids, lead paste, and sulfuric acid. Capacities range from one to ten metric tons per hour. From there, the lead paste can be treated in a de-sulfurization unit, filtered, and fed into a rotary furnace or blast furnace. The blast furnace operates at up to 1,800°C with a stated lead recovery rate of ninety-five percent. Crude lead then moves to a refinery kettle furnace, where it can reach 99.999 percent purity. Air pollution control and water treatment systems are integrated into the plant layout so the facility meets environmental requirements without bolt-on afterthoughts.
Lithium Battery Recycling
The shift to electric vehicles and portable electronics has created a massive incoming stream of spent lithium-ion cells. San Lan's lithium battery recycling plant runs at 500 to 2,500 kg per hour. The line discharges residual power, pre-crushes the cells, granulates them a second time, and separates the black mass containing nickel, cobalt, and graphite from plastic film, copper, and aluminum. A dedicated air pollution control system absorbs and neutralizes the gases released during crushing. Plastic film can be conveyed pneumatically to a hydraulic briquetter that compresses it into blocks at a ten-to-one volume ratio.
Cable Recycling
Scrap cable is often the first material new recyclers target because the economics are straightforward. San Lan's cable recycling equipment covers both manual stripping and automated granulation. Scrap cable strippers handle diameters from 1.5 mm to 150 mm. For higher volumes, the WCD series granulators with dry separators chop the cable and separate copper or aluminum from plastic insulation. The WCD-1200S and similar models produce clean metal fractions that smelters will buy without further processing. Wet separation plants are also available for specific cable types, including jelly-filled telecom cable.
Circuit Board Processing
Printed circuit boards pack concentrated value in copper and trace precious metals. San Lan's circuit board recycling equipment uses either dry air separation or wet water separation, depending on your local regulations and the boards you receive. Capacities run from 300 kg/hour up to 2,000 kg/hour. The WCBD-2000A dry plant uses third-generation air separation technology and includes a cyclone separator plus pulse bag dust collector. The company states copper powder purity of ninety-six to ninety-eight percent and a recovery rate of ninety-five percent. Wet separation lines can process boards that still have electronic components attached.
Lithium Ore Extraction and Beyond
San Lan also builds mineral processing plants, including lithium crude ore and tailings extraction lines. The tailings plant processes material at 800 metric tons per day, taking ore that was previously discarded at 0.25 to 0.3 percent grade and extracting additional value until final tailings drop to 0.15 percent. The company claims a total recovery rate of seventy-five percent against an industry average of sixty-five percent.
Other equipment lines include CRT cutters, refrigerator and air conditioner recycling systems, motor stator cutters, single and twin shaft shredders, lamp recycling machines with mercury capture, and medium frequency induction furnaces for melting recovered metals into ingots.
EPC Project Delivery
Buying machines is only part of the challenge. Installing them so they work together as a continuous process is where many projects stall. San Lan offers EPC delivery: engineering design, equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning. The technical team includes mechanical engineers with master's degrees and more than fifteen years of hands-on experience specifically in e-waste recycling machinery.
Beyond hardware, the company assists with sourcing waste feedstock such as cable scrap, used lead acid batteries, or PCB scrap. It also helps connect operators with buyers for recovered outputs like copper rice, copper powder, and lead ingots. For customers who need additional capital, San Lan can introduce investors or partners for plant construction.
Where San Lan Equipment Runs
Installations are operating in Singapore, Colombia, Vietnam, Mexico, Argentina, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Africa, Tunisia, India, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Zambia, Israel, and other markets. This spread means the company has dealt with varied import regulations, electrical standards, and environmental compliance frameworks. Communication happens in English or Chinese, which reduces the misunderstandings that often slow international equipment purchases.
